Creating The Spot On Scuba Diving Event
So you finally got certified and now you are ready for your first big scuba diving adventure! You may be wondering how to plan a fun and memorable vacation to try your new sport. You could easily just book a ready-made tour with a travel agent, but it is very easy and quite satisfying to make your own custom adventure.
To get started, decide where in the world you would like to go. Decide on a budget and remember that the further you go the more expensive it will be. Whether driving to the closest coast or trekking to the other side of the globe, you must do some homework. Return to the dive school where you received your certification and ask around. Instructors or club members can give you lots of valuable information about all kinds of dive destinations.
Decide if you will use rental gear or bring your own equipment on the trip. Unless you will be driving to your destination, plan to rent gear on location; it is a lot easier to travel light. The only things you should definitely bring from home are your dive card, scuba log, and your own personal scuba mask. The best dive in the world is no good with a leaking mask!
Research various dive boats and scuba chartering companies to use on the trip. Try to only use shops that have received positive referrals. Find out what kind of discounts may be available for reserving several dives and whether rental equipment costs extra. Try to match your experience level to the various dive tours that are available.
Find out what lodging options fit your budget and style. Ask about scuba packages that may be available at a preferred rate. Find out if any units have kitchens so that you can save money by preparing a few meals on your own.
Since you won't spend all your time under water, consider other recreational amenities available such as water sports, tennis courts, golf courses, bike rentals and, of course, a nice beach. Find out what dining options are close to your choice of lodging and whether there are local grocery stores nearby. Decide if you want peace and quiet or exciting nightlife while considering the location of your hotel.

What job should you get if you have a lot of frivoulous talents, but no direction?
I just want to taylor what skills I already have so I can provide for my family. I have twenty-two hours of flight time in three different aircraft. I am a certified scuba diver. If I have a manual I can figure anything out. I know how to train large animals. I know how to ride a horse. I can burn illuminated scripts on wood and make them from scratch. I can make antique crochet jewlery, pottery, I know how to us an engraver. I can figure anything out on the computer if I have to and learn anything if I put my mind to it. I graduated Aircrew school in the Navy. I used to do voluteer work at an aquarium feeding seaturtles, sharks, and rays. I only lack 26 credit hours to get my bacelors of Biology. What can I do with all those frivoulous skills? There must be something useful that I can do with them?
The flight experience suggests becoming a co-pilot or a stewardess for an airline.
Putting the volunteer work plus, training large animals, plus the scuba may be useful in getting a job as Sea World, or another private zoo or aquarium.

The other skills aren't worth much for getting a job, but you may not want a job!
Consider being an independent contractor or small business owner/artist. You'll probably make more money, and you have alot more control over what you'll charge than being a wage slave. If you have to cover bills with a part time job elsewhere then it makes it alot less risky, You'll need to learn sales skills, and you have to have some idea about what will sell. One step up from garage sales is going to an open market and renting a stall for the weekend.
